Suzana Manxhuka-Kërliu, with over 26 years of clinical and academic experience focuses on medical education, publications and innovative learning techniques. As an anatomic pathologist, she is trained in Zagreb, Croatia and as a surgical pathologist at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center-MSKCC/NY, USA and European School of Pathology, in Turin, Italy. Furthermore, she participated as an Erasmus Mundus/Basileus/Visiting Professor at the University of Rome La Sapienza as well as part of the Compostela Group of Universities in the Basque Country University in San Sebastian, Spain. As a Vice-Rector of the University of Prishtina, she provided the strategy, mission and vision for the internationalization of the University. Developed National Research Strategic plan for the development of the Scientific Research in the Country as well as the Framework for the Assessment of Scientific Research Institutions as an Executive Committee member of the National Research Council (NRC). Participated as Kosovo representative for the Medical Education in Europe-MEDINE. She served as a Director of Preclinical Institutes, Head of the PhD studies as well as the Head of the Residency program in Anatomic & Forensic Pathology. Also, she contributes as an Editorial Panel Member in the International Journal of Pediatric Research (IJPR), EC-Cancer Journal and Lectito Journal of Medicine; reviewer in many European Journals and has written more than 100 publications, as well as original and translated books. Currently, she is a Dean of the Faculty of Medicine/University of Prishtina, Professor of Anatomic Pathology; President of the National Board for Cancer Control, President of Kosova Task Force for Cancer Control-KTCC; Vice-President of Mediterranean Task Force for Cancer Control-MTCC & Vice-President of Italian-Kosovo League of Oncology (IKLO), member of the General Assembly of UICC as well as a member of European Society of Pathology-ESP and of many other professional associations.
